The Karalundi College community is centered around the boarding school. Everyone lives here for one simple purpose: and that is to provide a quality learning experience for the students entrusted into our care. We continue to do that by surrounding them with a Christian community so that they are being nurtured mentally, spiritually, socially and physically at all times.

Karalundi has a licensed caravan park with grassed campsites, onsite cabins and powered sites for caravans and camper-vans. There is room for big rigs too.
Contact us for reservations.

Karalundi Cafe sells baked delights, cold drinks, delicious frothy hot drinks and light meals. It is open Sunday-Friday, 9am-5pm, to provide meals and basic groceries to travellers and locals. Closed Saturdays.

We have now fitted out a small op shop, where our high school students are given the opportunity to work during the work-line program to gain experience in the retail and service industry.

Karalundi College is truly an "oasis in the desert."

Our Chapel

The Vaughan Seventh-day Adventist Chapel is located within the central grassed area between the school buildings and the dormitories. It is constructed of rammed earth and zincalume. The chapel is centrally located due to the Christian focus of the Community.

The church was named after Pastor Dudley Vaughan, Karalundi's founder, also a recipient of the MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) for his services to Aboriginal people.

Members and visitors are welcome to join with us each Saturday as we worship together from 10am.
